Florida Statute 468.8419 prohibits “a mold assessor, or a company that employs a mold assessor,” to “perform or offer to perform any mold remediation to a structure on which the mold assessor or the mold assessor’s company provided a mold assessment within the last 12 months.” Florida Statute 468.8419 became effective July 1, 2010 and forbids the same company from testing and remediating mold at the same property.

DON’T BE A VICTIM of salesmen who will test your property for mold and then attempt to recommend the work that needs to be performed by their company. Most will offer to perform the assessment at little to no cost to you, provided you let them perform the remediation work. Florida law prohibits such actions.

Simply said, we are inspectors and analysts of indoor environmental problems. Primarily, we test for mold and other allergens which may be affecting you and your family. There are many inspectors that offer some of the same services we do. There are real differences! We are not general contractors, or mold remediators, or home inspectors who also happen to perform mold testing for homes and commercial properties. We are there to work for you; to provide you with the best advice on the source of your problem, the best remedy and a permanent solution to avoid return of the mold or allergen issue.
